    Discover the Oder-Warta Region in the footsteps of the The Knights of St John.

    A total of 19 Johanniter sites were identified in the Oder-Warta region during the project. Today, they are connected by a tourist circular route divided into four sections.

    Region Friedland, Lower Lusatia

    Die Ordensstadt Friedland mit der Streleburg sowie 14 umliegenden Dörfern waren seit 1518 Eigentum der Johanniter. Die Burg ist gut erhalten und auch heute noch ein touristischer Anlaufpunkt mit Museum und Restauration. In der Umgebung finden sich weitere Johanniterspuren, z.B. mit den Kirchen Mixdorf und Grunow-Dammendorf.
