Exhibition Słońsk – Station 5:
The board is located at the entrance to the castle ruins and shows a floor plan of the castle with rooms and information points. The print is in tactile relief so that blind and visually impaired people can find their way around. The plan is also explained in Braille.
Today’s ground floor used to be the castle’s basement. It included, among other things, the castle kitchen, a wine cellar and washrooms.
The plan shows the distribution of the permanent exhibition in the castle. In the original, the board is designed as a tactile station so that blind and visually impaired people can find their way around the building using the tactile plan. Further information is provided in Braille.
The station also points out the historical mosaic floor in the room, which is worth seeing, when you enter the castle. It dates from the late 19th century and is partly well preserved.
