The Neuentempel church is worth seeing, 4 km from Marxdorf in the direction of Seelow. Neuentempel was first mentioned in a document in 1247, the church is a fieldstone building from that time. The two original church bells (1421 and 1767) still ring today. During the Second World War, the parish resisted National Socialism as part of the “Confessing Church”.
