The village and church belonged to the Friedland Order Office of the Order of St. John. The church was built in 1773, with the rectangular half-timbered building with a western roof tower. Further alterations were made in the 1960s and 1990s. The interior has galleries all around and a trough ceiling. The church also houses an altar, fragments of a wooden baptismal angel, a crucifixion group and a baptismal font from the religious era.
